Free Minor Ailment Scheme

Any patient who is exempt from prescription charges and is registered with a Lambeth GP presenting a minor ailment(e.g. cough, cold, fever, constipationm etc) will be eligible for our minor ailment scheme.

Free Repeat Prescription Collection Service

Streatham Pharmacy are pleased to be able to offer you a free repeat prescription collection service from local surgeries. You can read more about how to register here.

Free Stop Smoking Scheme

We can provide regular counselling sessions, the supply of nicotine replacement or Champix® and a test to assess your carbon monoxide levels. The Free Stop Smoking Scheme at Streatham Pharmacy can double your chances of stopping smoking!

Free Flu Vaccination

The free flu vaccination is available for patients over 60 years old, and those presenting a high risk of contracting colds and flu.

Free Medicines Check-Up (MUR)

The Streatham Pharmacy MUR scheme allows you to sit down with a pharmacist and have a proper discussion concerning your medicines, usually lasting around fifteen minutes. The pharmacist can then provide you with advice on how to get the best result from your medicines.

Blood Pressure & Diabetes Check

The confidential consultation includes blood pressure and diabetic readings, lifestyle advice and if necessary, referral to your doctor.

Cholesterol Check

Just like the confidential Blood Pressure & Diabetes Check, we can provide you with lifestyle advice and if necessary, referral to your doctor.

Erectile Dysfunction Service (Male)

Our confidential service provides effective treatment and regular reviews will be arranged with your pharmacist.

Travel Clinic

A full assessment of risks, health issues and advice tailored to you and your journey. This includes a supply of medication and/or first aid kits.

We can supply Malaria Prophylaxis tablets the same day without having to book a GP appointment.

Medicines Sales

We stock a plethora of non-prescription medicines, vitamins and mineral supplements.

Unwanted Medicines & Medicine Containers

All medicines are provided in child resistant containers unless otherwise specified. If you are in possession of any unwanted medicines, please remember that these can pose a risk, especially if they expire, and that we can dispose of them for you safely.

Emergency Hormonal Contraception

In certain circumstances, one of our pharmacists may be able to supply you with the EHC to those who require it urgently.

Patient Medication Records

Our computer system records all prescriptions dispensed by ourselves. This allows us to quickly check for problems, such as conflicts and reactions between medicines and will allow us to easily deal with any queries you may have.
